The following is from Norman Grubb's September 17, 1985 letter to the Cambridge University Missionary Band as recorded in the book My Dear C.U.MB. (which is an intimate look into Grubb's life):
". . . God has given us to see by His word and Spirit that our Godmade humanity, made 'very good' by Him, is just a vessel, branch, temple, body-member and we do not function by a 'nature' of our own, but are 'partakers through the Fall of Satan's nature.' By nature children of wrath and 'the lusts of our Satan-father we did.'
"So the glory of the gospel is through our Lord Jesus Christ dying as us on Calvary was 'made sin' and then 'died to sin,' and thus in place of that Sin-Satan indweller and expressing his nature by us, it is now Christ Himself expressing Himself in His nature by us.
"The story of Gal. 2.20. And now we are free to be ourselves, which is really HE as us!"
