Responding to Criticism

 The following is from Knight of Faith, Volume 1, a collection of Norman Grubb's personal correspondence:

"Don't let any of us fear the light.  All is going to come out one day anyhow (Luke 12.2).

"Just be ready to stand up to the truth, for none of us have anything to boast of except the blood and righteousness of Jesus.

"If you fear that [others] might say things which hurt your reputation, you anyhow have none worth having except the fact that Jesus now lives in you.  Insofar as they say things that are true, well, just admit them to be true; it is a good chance to acknowledge that we are a bunch of total failures except for the keeping power of God, and sometimes we take ourselves out of reach of that and have to come back.

"Just release all to God, ready to take what God sends."
