The Reality of Throne Life

The following is from a collection of Norman Grubb's personal correspondence, Knight of Faith, Volume 1:

"'Throne Life' . . . It is a great release when we know by fact and inner awareness that we are fixed on that Throne [God's throne] forever (Eph 2.6!).  It doesn't mean that we always feel it, but the whole point is for us to get plenty of practice in recognising fact when feelings all tear us up.

"This is our privilege of daily inner dyings and risings.  And the real purpose is no longer to ensure our position, which is an eternal fact, but that others may catch the secret as they see us enthroned in spirit when all hell may be let loose around us!  'Death works in us but life in you,' Paul writes.

"It is such a relief when we recognise that God means all things, good or evil, then when things are 'evil,' we look thru and see they are only distorted outer forms of HIM.  Then we praise from the Throne--and speak our words of faith."
