The following is from J. Rufus Moseley as recorded in the book Ineffable Union With Christ: Living in the Kingdom (Selected Writings of J. Rufus Moseley, 1927-1937) compiled and edited by Gregory S. Camp:
"Even to do our natural work best, we have to be in the world, but not of it. We have to be dead to lust, sin, bondage of this life and of this world and live unto God--alive unto Christ and His purity, holiness, love, and glory.
"Our citizenship is in Heaven when in union with the Risen Christ and when crucified to the things that crucified Him. Christ died for the lusts and sins of the world; we have to die through the cleansing, healing, and transforming power and glory that is to raise the dead and translate the living into the bodily likeness of Jesus.
"It's our privilege to live all the time in the abundant life of the living Christ. In union with His death and resurrection, we can be right now be in the beginning life of Jesus, in the power and glory of the Holy Ghost, and we can literally be filled with Christ. As we do this, we can be married to Him and bring forth fruit unto God. Through identification to and with the glorious hope of being manifested with Him, we can enjoy the glory and reign with Him."
