Living in the Kingdom

The following is from J. Rufus Moseley as recorded in the book Ineffable Union With Christ:  Living in the Kingdom (Selected Writings of J. Rufus Moseley, 1927-1937) compiled and edited by Gregory S. Camp:

"Years ago it was made known to me that the ministry as well as the life that we must have is to be vital, free, victorious, and pleasing to God in order to escape dryness, deadness, and being overwhelmed.  It must be through being within Christ and being directed by Him.

"We cannot minister the things of the Kingdom outside of the Kingdom; they must be ministered from within the Kingdom.  We enter by child-like humility and happy yielding, that we enter at the feet of Jesus, and the key that unlocks the Door and all doors is love.

"If you are on the outside, nothing is worthwhile except entering or re-entering and abiding.

"As we turn to the Holy Spirit to direct our desires, thoughts, prayers and everything, He leads us to Christ, into Christ, and into the Kingdom.  As we ask Him to lead us in, never to go out anymore, He is faithful not only to lead us in, but to keep us in."
